My 29-Day Giving Challenge :: Day 19

At the end of December I saw folks tweeting about Pixie’s Release Bundle and I knew I just had to make one. I bookmarked the instructions and waited for the Winter Solstice to arrive.

So, while we were in Tahoe I set out on a mission to pick up some of the necessary supplies to make my bundle. I found most of the ingredients, but did have to do some improvising and substituting. In the end I think it is the intension that is the most important part of the ritual.

As I was writing on my slips of paper and making my bundle, my daughter and her friend asked me what I was doing. They wanted to make a bundle too!! Then one of our house mates asked what we were doing and soon she was sitting down to making one with us. This spread to the whole house and everyone that was there that weekend wined up making a bundle and contributed to the release ceremony.

It was really quite magical and I’m so glad that I was able to share it will them all!!
